Yunnan Black Tea, Black Tea, China Black Tea

Yunnan Black Tea(Dian Hong), a black tea distinguished by the number of buds ("golden tips") that are present. Varieties range from the cheaper Broken Yunnan's dark and bitter taste to the gourmet Yunnan Pure Gold's gentle aroma and sweet taste. Originally from the Yunnan Province.

Brewing Methods

1. Use 1 soupspoon/caddyspoon.

2. Heat 1/2 litre of water to around 90 degrees (just off boiling)

3. Rinse tea by covering it with some of the hot water and tipping it away

4. Re-infuse tea and steep for 3-5 mins to taste.

5. Can be re-infused around 4 times or until no taste remains

Best enjoyed in a Yixing Teapot

Rich and chocolaty with a very distinctive aroma. This tea gives a rich brown coloured liquor when brewed.
